Releasing the Old, Creating the New: My Goodbye to 2025

A couple of nights ago, I stood in a sea of lights and sound at a Deadmau5 concert. For most, it was just another night of music. But for me it was a ceremony. A moment of release. A ritual to say goodbye to everything 2025 was… and everything it wasn’t.

As the bass dropped and lasers cut through the air, I let it all go.

The stress.

The doubt.

The heartbreak.

The self-sabotage.

The smallness.

Gone.

Sweated out.

Breathed out.

Danced out.

It reminded me that healing doesn’t always have to look quiet.

Sometimes, it’s loud.

Sometimes, it’s messy.

Sometimes, it’s in a warehouse with strangers and a mouse head DJ teaching your nervous system how to feel again.

This wasn’t about nostalgia or chasing a high. It was about making space.

Making space for everything that 2026 is bringing

More love.

More alignment.

More clarity.

More creation.

More peace.

And here’s what I know now:

We don’t enter the new year by default.

We have to choose it.

We have to release what’s no longer ours to carry and intentionally call in what we want.

So this is your invitation.

Find your way to release 2025.

Whether it’s with music, movement, journaling, breathwork, or stillness…….let it go.

Don’t drag the old version of you into the next chapter.

He served his purpose.

Now let him rest.

2026 is coming.

And if you’re reading this, it’s because you’re ready for it.

Let’s go get it.

Live Your Journey.
